First move of many

What a weekend! We moved our bedroom out of the living room into Casey's new bedroom until our new bedroom is finished. Did you get all that? Essentially, I now have a bedroom, a living room and a dining room, and they are beautiful! Cluttered, right now, but beautiful!
Chris came home from work Friday night and decided that we needed to move upstairs. So that's what our weekend consisted of. It was so much fun, and Casey loved it! As soon as the bed was set up, she started jumping on it, "This is my room! This is my room!" Too bad for her though, she has to wait a bit longer before she gets to sleep in it... She seems to be doing just fine with us upstairs, while she's still downstairs.
I'll post pictures as soon as the clutter is gone...

Flashback

I've seen a couple people do Flashbacks on their blogs, so I thought I would give it a try, too. I've been sorting through pictures, getting ready to scrapbook again, and just need to share some of these with you.

This was taken the first week after Casey was born. My favorite.

Sometimes I wish I could freeze time, but then life wouldn't be life, would it? That's why we have photographs - memories we can see that live forever.

Update time...

Let's see, what was it I said about staying current on this blog? I'm sure I don't remember...

In the past week and a half - -

--Casey and I went to my friend, Julie's house to make cupcakes for Halloween. It was a lot of fun, and of course the kids had a blast decorating them. I'm not sure if there was more candy in their tummy's or on the cupcakes...

Lexie, Casey and Emily - so proud of their work!

This is my new wonderful friend, Julie! (Terrible pic of me...yikes!)

--I celebrated another birthday. Don't ask which one! Chris was so sweet and took me out for breakfast. Then I went out for supper with some old friends. It was a fun day.

I got these beautiful flowers from Julie - Thanks!! Casey loved the balloon!

--Of course, I had to take Casey trick-or-treating. I think I had as much fun as she did. She was so excited to get all that candy, and would NOT let me carry her candy pail - even when it was nearly full! I think she was afraid I'd eat the candy...can't figure out why...

She was way too cute in her little Ladybug costume. She did not want to take it off; in fact, she went to bed holding it. Very cute.
